through time the black society has been given a challenge for equality, to be equal like the white men. as we've seen through time black people have been suppressed and reprised; slavery. many times groups that attempt to gain the black society rights have failed or been shut down. there are many people that have gained traction to the idea of black equality like Frederick Douglass or Malcolm X.

in the time of  1750 the black society was unable to be equal, or practice their beliefs. as 1914 came around, the idea of black equality  gained traction and, eventually grew. thanks to people like Harriet Tubman; slaves where freed, gave protection to slaves, and worked hard to give black people freedom.  the black society after 1914 was able to gain significantly more rights and the ability to practice their religions, beliefs, and their ethics.
